Our Mega Wing Sweep History

Several years ago we began to redesign and test the wear of our then new Mega Wing sweep in a bolt-on design. The results of our testing were good so we proceeded to produce and sell them. Then in the fall of 2004, we ran some field tests with a noc-on version designed to fit the Nichols Quick Change brackets. To say the least the results were excellent. We had a far superior sweep made of Boron Steel. Since then we have made further improvements including adding a unique wear bar underneath the nose of the sweep and moved to an 8 mm (5/16”) thick material to increase the wear life.
